SHREE SANTRAM TEMPLE OF NADIAD: ITS SOCIAL SERVICES Apart from offering prasad (food) freely to all visitors throughout the year and all other activities, the temple also undertakes many other social services. Mahant Shree Narayandasji Maharaj is the real force and under his guidance and supervision the social services of the temple is flourished. Its dream is reflected significantly to the activities of the temple in Nadiad. Recently, Shree Narayandasji Maharaj had also taken up another challenging task namely, that of reconstruction the old building of Shree Santram Temple at Nadiad. All devotees of Shree Santram Maharaj believe in "Service to Others". This has inspired them to do Karseva the concept borrowed from the Sikh religion in which any service to the temple is called Karseva to rebuild the temple. The devotees have contribution in different forms of services to all aspects of Shree Santram Temple, either it is in form of money or physical labor or other voluntary services according to their capacity and qualification. The completion of its reconstruction was celebrated from January 16th 1999 to January 31st 1999. On this occasion, a number of religions and social service programs were organized.
